Atlas of Nations (2024–2025, ongoing)
UV print engraving, backlit aluminum frame
Atlas of Nations is an ongoing series built from 3D scans gathered by the artist in different territories. Rather than mapping borders, the works register how sovereignty is experienced through symbols, myths, architecture and personal encounters with place. Current works draw on the Republic of Vietnam / South Vietnam, Singapore, Hawai'i, Indochina and Huế, moving between modernist state architecture, orchids, taro cosmology, colonial labor histories and the underworld. Each scan is treated less as documentary evidence than as a fragment whose visual data can be decoded, layered and reshaped into a subjective cartography of nationhood.
