Bóng Xoay / The Spinning Shadows (2024)
Digital collage lenticulars in stainless steel artist frames
The Spinning Shadows is a series of digital lenticular collages that explores the cosmology of the Mekong Delta through transformation. As viewers move, images shift between dancers, machines, deities, monuments and landscapes. The lenticular surface echoes múa bóng rỗi - ritual movement that mediates between ordinary and celestial realms - while also staging the region's longer history of reclamation, mechanization and modernity. Here transformation is not only visual but cosmological: human, technological and divine bodies continuously exchange forms.
